I do not agree with this at all! He had a longer arc than your beloved TGP winner. Grant is a fantastic actor and deserves to mentor. He can teach these kids a lot about being dynamic as an actor. I, mean, this guy played the male version of Santana, which is no small feat. He played this mean, sarcastic, promiscuous character perfectly, and he was able to convey the character’s softer side on the winter finale. For us Warblers lovers, this is great news. The fact that a Warbler is mentoring this season gives us hope that our beloved Warblers will be back for season 4. This boy is a great actor, singer, and is fresh off an off-Broadway role: I think he could teach the contenders a lot. He went to a performing arts high school, and then went on to be an arts major in college. His off-Broadway role happened to be a Glee favorite, West Side Story. He knows what it is like to be the new guy on the set, be in the booth, and work with Zach. He was in the big MJ episode as one of the main storylines for that episode. He is a polished performer. Being a mentor isn’t always about being a series regular; being a mentor is about your ability to teach the contenders how to be a fantastic well rounded performer. So, before you go and judge his ability to be a mentor, think about his accomplishments(which are very impressive for his young age) and what it takes to be a mentor.
